Plan to attend T@TB 2016!

Speak of "Down the Shore" and you think of sandy beaches along the Atlantic coast, boardwalks, fishing or swimming in the waves, and sand dunes.  However, there is another "Down the Shore" in New Jersey, the coast of the Delaware Bay estuary. Learn and discover more about this New Jersey resource and gateway to the Delaware River. This year, the annual Teach at the Beach conference will be held at the Bayshore Center at Bivalve, a new location for this NJMEA event in Port Norris, NJ.  This promises to be another terrific day of professional development. The program includes an educational trip on the A.J Meerwald, exploring Delaware Bay wetlands, the history of shell fisheries in Delaware Bay, a trip to the Delaware Bay shore to investigate horseshoe crabs, and a tour of the Haskins Shellfish Laboratory.
