Registration

Time to register for this year's twice rescheduled event!  The fee for the two evening virtual workshop is $30.00 for current members, $40.00 for non-members (this includes lapsed members), and $20.00 for students. This fee will include a one year membership extension for present members and a one year membership for non-members (lapsed members).

There are no session choices to be made for this T@TB.  There will be something for everyone and a chance to connect with your colleagues.  You can review the descriptions of the keynote speakers and sessions below.

If you have any difficulties registering or have any questions about registration, please contact NJMEA.

Who are we?

We were founded by four Black female shark researchers. We strive to be seen and take up space in a discipline which has been largely inaccessible to women like us.  We strive to be positive role models for the next generation. We seek to promote diversity and inclusion in shark science and encourage women of color to push through barriers and contribute knowledge in marine science.
Finally, we hope to topple the system that has historically excluded women like us and create an equitable path to shark science. We believe diversity in scientists creates diversity in thought, which leads to innovation.

We need your help! Consider donating to support all expense paid research experiences for undergraduate students and recent graduate students as well as support free summer camps for middle/high school students.
